
- Net inflows for US-listed ETFs totaled $182.4 billion in July, bringing total ETF assets under management to $15.5 trillion.
- Equity ETFs had net inflows totaling $124.9 billion in July, bringing trailing 12-months (TTM) net inflows to $1.33 trillion. Active equity ETFs accounted for $33.9 billion in net inflows in July, compared to $91.0 billion in net inflows for passive equity ETFs. Total AUM in actively managed equity ETFs was $1.20 trillion, accounting for 9.7% of all equity ETF assets ($12.4 trillion), as of 7/31/26.
- Fixed income ETFs had net inflows totaling $50.8 billion in July, bringing TTM net inflows to $589.3 billion. Active fixed income ETFs accounted for $17.5 billion in net inflows in June, compared to $33.3 billion in net inflows for passive fixed income ETFs. Total AUM in actively managed fixed income ETFs were $615.7 billion, accounting for 23.7% of all fixed income ETF assets ($2.6 trillion), as of 7/31/26.
- Commodities ETFs had net inflows totaling $1.4 billion in July, bringing TTM net inflows to $28.7 billion. Broad commodity ETFs (+$1.2 billion) and precious metals ETFs (+$0.5 billion) had the largest net inflows for the month, offset by outflows from Energy ETFs (-$0.3 billion).
