Cushman & Wakefield reported that 146 leases were signed for U.S. warehouse spaces of 500,000 square feet or more in 2025, an increase of 31% year-over-year and the highest level since 2022, according to The Wall Street Journal. The surge in demand for large warehouses was driven by U.S. manufacturers, suppliers to data center builders, and retailers outsourcing their fulfillment operations during the year.
