The Federal Reserve’s quarterly Financial Accounts report showed that the combined net worth of U.S. households and nonprofit organizations totaled $195.9 trillion at the end of Q2’26, up from $183.1 trillion in the previous quarter. Americans’ ratio of net worth to disposable personal income (DPI) was a record 8.28 during the quarter, while the ratio of household debt to DPI was just 0.90, near its lowest level since the late 1990s (excluding pandemic-era figures).
