Factoid - July 15, 2026

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported that it approved 23 new drugs in the first half of 2026, up from 16 over the same period in 2025. For comparison, the FDA approved 20 new drugs in the first half of 2018 before reaching a record 59 approvals by the end of the year.
