Gartner, Inc. reported that worldwide shipments of personal computers increased by 4% year-over-year to 62.8 million units in Q1’26 (preliminary results), up from 60.4 million units over the same period last year. Gartner noted that demand is expected to decline in the coming quarters amid price hikes from rapidly climbing memory costs.
