Gallagher Re reported that insurance losses from global natural disasters totaled $105 billion year-to-date through Q3'25 (preliminary results), 8% lower than the 10-year average of $114 billion, according to its own release. The news comes amidst a quieter-than-expected Atlantic and Pacific tropical cyclone season. Gallagher Re noted that Q3'25 was one of the least expensive quarters for global insurers this century.
