Crunchbase reported that global venture investment totaled a record $189.0 billion in February 2026, an increase of nearly 780% from $21.5 billion in February 2025. Startups related to artificial intelligence raised $171.0 billion in February 2026, accounting for 90% of all funding. U.S.-based startups raised $174.0 billion, or 92% of all venture funding, during the month.
