AAA reported that the average price for one gallon of regular-grade gasoline totaled $3.84 in the U.S. on 3/18/26, up from $3.08 per gallon on this day last year. California and Kansas currently have the highest and lowest gasoline prices nationwide, charging an average of $5.56 and $3.23 per gallon, respectively.
