Harvard University's Joint Center for Housing Studies (JCHS) reported that U.S. homeowners spent $514 billion on improvements and repairs over the 12-month period ended Q4'25, up from $500 billion over the same period in 2024. The JCHS forecasts that trailing 12-month U.S. home improvement and repair expenditures will reach $522 billion in late 2026.
